Idea Channel is a subsidiary of Chitester Creative
Associates, a television producer of such famous series as Milton Friedman's "Free to
Choose". They have a library of over 200 scholarly video tapes available to
Universities and the general public.As a consultant to Chitester Creative Navaco
designed their web site at http://www.ideachannel.com/
which is commerce enabled with an on-line database and shopping cart function. The site
was built with software from iCAT Corporation. Navaco also recommended the deployment of a
Local Area Network at Chitester Creative to be the foundation of a future EDMS solution
with Web site integration.
The Idea Channel web site had unique requirements of rich media types such as
audio and video clips in their on-line catalog. Future plans include live online audio and
video broadcasts using streaming technology.
