Navaco is helping them chart a course toward higher efficiencies by reducing paperwork
through EDMS technologies.As a first step Navaco designed and deployed a 25 node
network with 2 Remote Access dial in ports. The network was designed for the demands of
EDMS software by using a network switch which delivers the full bandwidth of a 10
Mbps ethernet port to each desktop. The server is scalable to 4 processors and has storage
capacity of 30GB. The server OS is Windows NT. Microsoft Exchange server provides e-mail
and groupware functions. Legacy real-estate applications, Network print services and an
Internet gateway are available to all users over the network.
Navaco also designed the web site for Pro Realty which is hosted at a remote site. http://www.prorealty.com/
The web site is fully interactive with a back end database which holds all of Pro
Realty's residential and commercial listings. Listings can be created, edited or deleted
from any client machine on the network.
Future plans for Pro Realty include a network FAX server, Document Imaging, and custom
MAPI based application running on MS Exchange.
